    Sam Adams Utopia
For all you beer drinkers out there, I have been reading about the "Holy Grail" of beer. It is called Sam Adams Utopia. Supposedly there are just a few barrels in circulation and it runs up to $20 an ounce!! Just curious if anyone has tried it or have heard about it. I am going to try to find a bar in NYC that may have it. Being a Sam Adams drinker, it would be a shame not to at least try it.

I'd love to try it, love to try any beer. But I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $20 an ounce for it. We've been making our own ales from some recipes we buy at Austin Homebrew, and we've got Boddingtons and Newcastle Brown down now at about 50¢ a bottle.

My favorite beer is Trappistes Rochefort 6 & 10. You got to try both.

Pavy, as you know Taco Mac as a bunch of beers on tap, and when I lived down the street from one, was able to partake in many of their selections. I assume you have hit that place for a good microbrew?

There is a Taco Mac a mile from my house casper. I like to order draft beer from their vast import selection. I will check if they have the Utopia next time I go there. I'm sure I can afford the whole keg.

I had one of those Rochefort's at a Flying Saucer in Houston last summer. Can't remember the number on the style I drank, but was a little sweet for my taste.

They are spiced and aromatic Willie. This is not what you want to drink eating a big steak or with peanuts.

Actually was eating some cheese and salami for a pre-game nosh when I had it. Only 'sweet' beer I've found that I do like is that Young's Double Chocolate Stout, nice last beer of the evening type.
