Aww, thanks Pavy. I was just outside having a smoke and grabbed a quick picture of Queen Gracie. She's a hard color to describe, so I figured a picture would be worth a thousand words.

It's funny you mention that, because it turns out that Mr. Chubbies has bottom tendencies. Last year when I took him to the vet for his checkup, the veterinary nurse took his rectal temperature and when she inserted the themometer he started grinning and purring. The nurse cracked up laughing and I just sat there with a knowing smirk.

Also, one of my good friends has a little yappy Min Pin dog that's not fixed and humps everything in sight. Mr. Chubbies is his best friend and just hunkers down and lets the dog hump him to his heart's content. Perhaps it really is true that animals choose their owners rather than the other way around.

I sure did, RJ. I've got a thing for succulents, since they're practically maintenance free. Between my "crops" and the fruit trees I have, I really don't have any further interest in keeping much of a decorative garden. These allow me to fill the yard with growing things that don't require much attention and showcase the diversity of plants that thrive in my area.

Queen Gracie is an exclusively outdoor cat, she doesn't tolerate being cooped up in the house for more than 10 minutes or so. Mr. Chubbies likes to be outdoors while the sun is up, but after it sets he comes in and then sleeps on the pillow next to me. He's a master hunter too, I haven't had a single gopher eat my plants since I got him.

I have an australian shepherd. Can't tell the name because it is my SBR password spelled backwards with a few numbers wedged between.
