#3Flyers have some value at 40/1.
Horrible 2013 but should bounce back,They are shopping for #1 goalie.
Also like the kings at 16/1, great goalie and not much changes from their cup team.Comment -

#4devils at 40/1 is an absolute steal. defense is always solid and if they can score enough they can beat anyone. If Kovalchuk hadn't gone down last year this team could have gone deep if they had made the playoffs.Comment -

#5Was thinking I was going to like the Blues before I looked, but 8-1? I think part of it is they are in the least competitive division and from what I have read in good shape salary cap wise. Yes, they do have Chicago in the division, but they could suffer from the usual Cup letdown.
Interesting to see where Luongo ends up and how that effects the outlook. Looking like Canucks may just have to buy him out and he will be a free agent.Comment -

#6I like the Islanders at 30 to 1, I think if they could get a solid netminder they could be a contender in the East.Comment -

#7Goodday, everyone. Brand new to this great site. Hope I am doing this right. If Philly can get a goalie, maybe Halak, 40-1 looks great for them.Comment -

#14Maybe so, but I have had my eye on the Stanley Cup futures since before the last playoffs started, specifically in regards to the price on Columbus. Now, I won't be betting the 40/1 on them, but they seem to have been misjudged by a couple of my books who have them at 150/1 and 100/1 and I am all over them at this price, and here is why:
The deadline day signing of Gaborik looks to have been good business, and being in a much happier situation than he was in at the Rangers, seemed to have brought out some of the old Gaborik by the end of last season - and with a full preseason then I can see him starting this year strongly.
They have 3 1st Round draft picks, which gives them the flexibilty to either draft well for the future or to use them as bargaining chips to trade for plaers who will improve them right now - or ideally, a combination of both.
One slight wrinkle is Bobrovsky's contract as he is soon to be a restricted free agent, but if they can lock him down to a contract then anything over 50/1 at this stage is a huge price, and once free agency begins, I would expect that price to drop further as and when they make the moves to strengthen this team.Comment -

#15I'm more so speaking about draft deadline deals and FA. Columbus has zero shot. Save your money or buy an ice cream cone. ZERO shot.Comment -
