How much faith do you put in trends like this

It's hard to overlook strong trends when capping, for example. The Cavs have won the last 10 at home vs the Celtics. I personally just look at the numbers and wager accordingly, however just how much of a factor do you put into trends like this?

I look at some. Trends are very good when it come down to college capping. People really don't realize how much trends are important

not much all, only trends i will follow is in baseball like if a certain pitcher has dominated a team that is more of the same the past 4 or 5 meetings
