Locks is starting to regress though, he really wasn't that great in this game. He definitely looks like a prime fade over the second half.

He had Tj surgery, but it was way before he was with the Tigers. I want to say it was back in 2000 or so. He had knee surgery in 2010.

locke is solid and doesn't do anything special. same with grilli. pound the strike zone. locke's worst start was when he fell in love with the strikeout and was trying to be perfect. think he actually did have a no hitter going in that one, but like 6 walks or something outrageous. pitch to contact, but still hit your spots.

16 starts without a loss, 2nd in the majors in ERA after 17 starts and you guys are still calling him garbage and looking to fade him? how many starts before you think he might be an honest to goodness MLB pitcher? win/loss is one of the worst stats in baseball.

Seems you are contradicting yourself here. Correct that won/lost record is meaningless, yet seems you are using it to defend him? Anyhow, almost as meaningless as W/L is ERA, but what IS meaningful is his now 4.19 xFIP. Locke has the biggest negative disparity between xFIP and ERA of any pitcher in baseball, THAT is why regression is coming soon.
