#3Wasn't really a contest, but the Cadaver2Cappers dude was 8-2 over 5 picks, and to have 8 winners in 5 picks, you gotta' be good.

#11While I have a soft spot for tomcast's victory in year 3 of Beat The Prick to win the Harley, there is no denying that Aces in year 2 was a steamroller. He just totally deflated the competition, which numbered about 700 as I recall. He elbowed everyone out of the way to take the lead - and then just kept getting stronger.
As one of the guys who was close in the standings and trying to catch up, I can tell you it was a sledge hammer effect. You'd keep going 3-1 in the late weeks - and losing ground.Comment -

Mud, I was going to mention your name, specifically your success in past BTP contests. You've consistently been atop the leaderboard every year, including another top 10 finish this past season. Very impressive.Comment -

#17Originally posted by ryanspeer2001while i think nicky's run at 53 units over 512 picks is the best of the options by far. Rjt721's run through the tourny and betting on himself is pretty fresh. How much did you wager at +6500 if you don't mind me asking?Comment -

Hey thanks.
To be exact, about 80% of Tomcast's plays came from me. It was exciting. But as far as this poll goes, I think Aces record from the year before probably beat us by a good 5 games.Comment -

#28thanks richie. Hey RJT, no offence here to you buddy, but i did predict that i'd end up with the most units in contest at least +50 units from the beginning.. I also beat you by about 60 units in this contest rjt, and it was my 1st contest ever. rjt, you're lucky i wasn't in that contest of yours, or you wouldn't have won..rjt, you were at 65-1 to win it.. i was at 100-1 to win it because there were 100 posters in contest. And were you gutsy enough to offer someone 200 bucks if they have more units than you? i did.. Did you guarantee victory 100 times and take the chance of looking like a fool if we lose.?
and not to sound like a jerk or a big mouth, and if i do, i apologize, i swear i dont mean to.. but if i did this contest again next year, i'll end up with at least 50 units up again, and probably as high as 75 units up.. i expected to be much higher than 52 units.
So i deserve this vote, sorry rjt..stop trying to sell yourself here and stop voting for yourselfComment -

#30Rtj's actual odds should have been 127-1, so he has my vote hands down. Nicky simply exploited stale lines...no real accomplishent. What decent handicapper would pick 20 plays a day under normal circumstances? Nicky's a fraud.Comment
