    Amazon prime membership, anyone have?
    Amazon Prime Member Benefits Include:

    Unlimited FREE Two-Day Shipping

Upgrade to One-Day Shipping for only $3.99

    No minimum order size

    Costs $79/yr.

    What's the drawback here?

If you like overnight shipping, which can cost near $20 depending the size of the package, all you have to do is make more than 4 purchases and you've already saved the prize of overnight shipping.

And two-day shipping is still better (free) than standard ground, which might take anywhere from 3-5 to even 7 business days to get there depending what you order.

I have it and actually split it with someone. You can share it with up to 4 "household members". Needless to say the person I share it with does not live in my house.

I use it a lot. If you order a lot from them it is a good deal even by yourself. I use it alot as it is easier to buy from them and pay no sales tax then to drive to a store, especially when gas prices were so high.

I ordered a Wii on Monday afternoon and had it delivered on Wednesday noon without using the premiere service. Just regular free shipping.

Cool. From browsing the menus, it seems you can only order from the Prime Eligible inventory, which I assume is Amazon's on hand stuff. I take it they'd have most commercial items, just maybe not some oddball stuff?

I've ordered like 30 times using Amazon Prime.... would've cost around $10-40 each shipment so saved tons.

They do offer free shipping for orders above $25 but postal does not deliver packages to my address so I have to go pick it up which is a hassle. Plus it can take a week.

So I don't mind paying extra for Prime.

You can get free 3 month trial... here's how. http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-...1=amazon+prime
