Name the only NFL quarterback to wear a radio backpack during games so he could talk to his coach?
Mind you, the thing was huge.

Nope.
You might consider him similar to Archie Manning in regards to his career.

I'll give you a visual. You know how in WWII war movies you see the one soldier carrying a radio on his back and then another soldier will call back to the commander while it's still on the guy's back?
Picture that under an NFL quarterback's uniform.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but when did Tim Tebow wear this while quarterbacking an NFL team?

I've been trying to find it, but I can't. It was ridiculous looking. I don't know he got the jersey over it.

Intriguing. Does that mean he played for the Saints or that he was somewhat skilled but not blessed with great teams? Hmmm.
The name Jim Hart leapt to mind for some reason.

I dunno man. I can throw out names of skilled quarterbacks you need to be over 35 to remember but I would just be guessing.

Roger Staubach

Here we go. This should give it away.
In his career, (with 4 different teams) he played along side 4 different future Hall of Fame quarterbacks.
3 of those times, he lost his starting job to those future Hall of Fame QB's.

You guys must be drinking early.
He is drafted by the Cowboys who have Roger Staubach as the starter. Roger retires so this Qb thinks he will compete for the starting job. Instead he's traded to the SF 49ers.
He has the starting job there until some guy named Joe Montana takes it from him. He's then traded to Denver.
He's the starter in Denver until some guy name John Elway shows up. So he's traded again to Tampa.
He's the starter there until some guy named Steve Young shows up and wins the job.
He finishes his career backing up Chris Chandler on the Atlanta Falcons team that goes to the Super Bowl.

Steve DeBerg.
DeBerg also acquired a reputation for playing through particularly gruesome or unique injuries. He played with laryngitis and wore a portable amplifier during regular season games with San Francisco.
