in truth, if you think too hard about outsmarting the books... you prob overthink and get in trouble

many ways to skin a cat. once i'm done tracking 2,000 plays on a coupla systems i'll just let my computer tell me what to bet. for the time being I just stay under $30 wagers most of the time and have fun with it

Keeping it fun is a good point, Chi. Getting buried every other week or more is no fun and will assist in a person losing interest in the game itself. Been there and done that. Keep it fun.

They interviewed Warren Buffet at the last college world series. They asked him if he had any analogies of investing compared to baseball. He said yes I do. He said that an investor (gambler) has a big advantage over a batter because the investor can take unlimited pitches before he has to swing at one, where as the batter only gets 3 strikes and he's out. He said his advice for the investor is to take ball after ball until you get the juicy one and knock it out of the park.

This is great advice for gambling as well.
