lolz...shogun, they have a few set plays...usually involves lebron trying to play point, but they play more streetball than any other team...lebron told the press after game 1 that he was playing the 5 some and nobody would have any say so ... in numerous games, you can see wade deciding when bosh hits the bench and who comes in for him...did you hear any of the time out huddles....he is a fukking cheerleader

his talents, what little they are, would be better seen if he wasnt coaching the heat... as long as he has his current talent, he will continue to be virtually meaningless in carrying out the original game plans... wade and lebron will always do what they want, when they want...

deuce said it best... spo is at the very bottom of the list of coaches who have won championships... common man

Spoelstra comes from a Sports/NBA background. his father was an nba executive for years.....and apparently he was a point guard in college..and was on the floor when Hank Gathers collapsed...he trained as a PG with bobby hurley when they were teenagers....he is not some freakin scrub who fell into the job...he knows what he is doing.....and Lebron DOES listen to him....one of the reasons Spoelstra got the job...in the first place was because of the work he did rebuilding Wade's jump shot which was not always what it is today...Riley is no fool....he could have hired a thousand other more qualified guys with longer resumes...but he hired Spoelstra who was has been coaching from the moment he left college.....

Come on, for someone who claims to know as much as you do you don't even know that they aren't allowed to show coaches talking about xs and os on tv? All they can show is "motivational" or "cheerleader" sequences.

You seem to be completely blinded by hatred. Lighten up a bit. Shogun is right.

pop is better than jackson imo. jackson had the two best players in nba history by far. and probably 2 of the 4 1-2 combos of all time. (Jordan-Pippen) (Kobe-Shaq)

easy to put the guy on a pedestal now. he was gifted a prime LeBron/Bosh, kept Wade, and every decent role player is dying for a roster spot.

however, I don't remember him being "great" when Miami was rebuilding in 08-09.

Spo's good, but let's not act like he's coaching the Washington Generals.

any way you cut it there's still only five gueys in nba history who have coached more titles than him

if he wins #3 then he REALLY separates himself....even if he is just riding coattails

I would put him up there with the best, by the time he retires he will have a great legacy. I mean 3 final appearances in a row, back to back championships so far. I his on court coaching decisions are the best I've seen he knows his players well and his players trust him. Also none of their players appear to have big injuries year after year so that's a +. For the record I said there was no coaching disparity between him and Pop during the finals because there simply wasn't any and he won...
