Usually the negative remarks about me are pure jealousy and I laugh it off. My book ratings are the best in the world and have been paid $1000's just to reveal them, I have been a line consultant at books and a line service consultant.

My picks are bad but never said they were good, no one will win with me in some type of forum argument as I am ranked second in the world next to Sick Gambler in that category.

Have never posted at tons of forums, I usually picked one or two and concentrated their and made their places much busier. I have made Shrink and The Major lots of money through the years, Kenny did kick some back to me at times and The Major is just a cheap scumbag that pays no attention to his cheap loooking ghostown site and more worried how to promote bad books for cash.

I am a very different poster from like 2-3 years ago, way calmer and less posts.

Yes I have had over 23,000 posting names the last 7 years and here is the breakdown just for the major forums and not news, weights, sex, garden, toy and electronic forums.

Majorwager- approx 1700 names or so
RX- was paid to create ghosts 800 or so
EOG- was paid to create ghosts 650
    SBR- 3 names

I used to follow JJ's horse picks and they were really good for a while and then he stopped posting them. I think someone pissed him off.

JJ busted Triplecrown.com in a pretty elaborate horse racing shill job.

JJ, is good for entertainment purposes. He even has knowledge of the industry that at times is very insighful. The problem for JJ and any new member coming along is decerning between ebtertaining JJ and experienced JJ.

I personally like the character even though at times is regresses below any entertainment value but the guy never gives it a rest. He is after it day after day and you have to repsect that. He knows when things are slowing down around here and is able to post a nonsense thread to get the pot stirred a little. He realizes when it is time to jump on a bandwagon and is just enough of a ham to be able to turn it into a video. He understands the mentality of forum members and he capitalizes on that constantly. The man understands this and silly or not he is masterful in his approach.

You watch a comedy on tv. The actors do their season and then the show is on break for months. They do their scene for the day and then they are off till tomorrows shoot. JJ never takes a break. He is on 24-7.

Now as for gambling and any new comer that is looking for someone to keep an eye on. Well that is a different story. JJ's repeated routines about when it's tough you gotta go harder and his joking about being a typical degenerate as funny when you understand the irony involved but to an unsuspecting newbie it could be brutal. We take it for granted the pitfalls involved but to someone fresh on the scene this could be very misleading. There should always be a disclaimer to any of JJ's gambling advice post for all those still learning.

All in all though JJ Gold is one of the best this site has to offer in the way of entertainment. There are others no doubt and still more making their way up the ladder. SBR would be an everyday run of the mill forum without the likes of a JJ, Bread, Pavy, Taco, Nicky, Abe, Mudcat, and so many other regulars.

It is remarkable how much the industry has changed since then, the biggest thing being UIGEA. Back then there was a feeling of comradery among many players and wanting to help each other and band together against shills, scammers, STIFFs and general nonsense.

Now post-UIGEA, it is really in every knowledgeable gambler's best interest to have as much bad information floating around as possible - at least in public forums. Having lots of losing players is essential to the health of the industry and they are not as plentiful as they were when American players were more free to wander around off-shore.

I personally don't have the heart to actively spread bad information but I don't go out of my way to fight it like many of us used to.

The jj approach, for all the wrong reasons, has become acceptable to smart players.

I just wish that, like wal, I could find something entertaining about it. Personally I have had jj on IGNORE for awhile (a couple years?). I can tell from his thread titles that he is still recycling the same stuff I saw over and over and over for many years before relegating it to spam filtering.

Mudcat, just realize that I find it entertaining in non-important related ways. Also when I refer to JJ as being funny or even entertaining I mean it like Kids in the Hall or Saturday Night Live kind of funny. It's a joke so I take it as a joke from start to finnish. JJ, Micheal Jack Corbin is playing a character and I don't take him any other way.

Now his dedication to his craft, that I truly admire. I don't know anyone who is always on more than the man we know as JJ Gold. Never takes a break and never needs a reason. The guy does deserve his cudo's.
