It never fails where every year I get a few 6 packs of hoity toity micro brewery bottled beer.Is there such a thing as great bottled micro brewery beer with names like Alaska moose droppings pale ale.Park City Dingleberry ale.Aspen ass falling lager.Vail United Nations-olympics socialist stout.

These brews always come from yuppy trust fund, global warming loving ski resort towns where everyone is called a dude and where everyone looks like Carrot Top that either plays a banjo or juggles.

None of the stuff ever has a pleasing taste.I can drink a case of almost any beer in a day and never get sick or have an aftertaste or hangover. With micro brew you really mess up your digestive system. The stuff is totally overated and I'm sure this industry will be a huge casualty of the financial meltdown.Even yuppies will be drinking Milwaukee's Best soon.

Maybe I am one of the fortunate ones, but I have had some very good microbrew beers. Granted I have had some I would not feed to starving Third World children, but all in all I have some good experiences. Much like major lable brews, there are good ones, bad ones, and some you swear were laced with Ebola.

Have to echo Casper's sentiments on the subject here. Have had a few I wouldn't want to have again, but I'm used to that since we make our own beer several times a year and we've made a few that would finish second to horse piss over the years. I'm not really into a lot of the Nutty Brown Wheat Autumn Surprise flavors, but I sitll like to try different styles.

Microbrews can vary from very good to very bad. It takes an adventurous attitude to try them out. Otherwise you can play it safe with Coors or whatever. Everyone has different taste. If you find one that is good, stick with it. I've had some very very bad ones over my lifetime.

Personally, I go with an IPA when I'm trying out a new microbrewery because it's tough to mess that style up, even though some microbreweries have succeeded! lmao
