#11He said a few weeks ago that if he decides to leave the NFL, it would be for good.
A lot of guys would say something like that and I would think, 'Yeah maybe/maybe not.'
Dungy, I take at his word.Comment -

#27Also, don't forget that he was coach of the first Tampa teams to win ( without Manning).
I remember when he played and then coached under Chuck Noll. I'm not sure if he ever started - maybe a year or 2 as db. then he became an asst to Noll before he was 30. Great coach , great guy.Comment -

#31I live in Indy and I've been a Colts fan since they got here in 1984! I agree that Tony Dungy is slightly overrated in the sense that any decent coach could win 1 SB w/the "who's who" list of All-Pros that he's had over the years! That 2006 team that lost to the Steelers was the best team in the NFL and Dungy didn't have that team ready to play....plain and simple! I told my dad at the time that the Steelers would come out passing since we stuffed their run on MNF earlier that season! They did and our defense was completely unprepared..fell for playaction passing time after time while we fell into a 14-0 hole that we never recovered from! That being said...I wouldn't Coach Dungy (or the Colts) for anyone!
I lived in Dallas-Ft. Worth in the 90s and I saw South America's team win 3 SBs w/the biggest bunch of FCN THUGS I've ever seen in my life! Mike Irvin, Nate Newton, etc! That team was CONSTANTLY in the news for drugs, hookers, etc.! Jimmy Johnson just promoted the same $hit on a bigger scale from what happened in the early Miami Hurricane days..2 Live Crew days! No thanks! Belechik is a fcn douche too...no thanks! We've had Bobby Knight and 3 National Championships...the kids graduated but who wants to support a fcn tyrant w/their hard earned money that can't practice what he preaches!
Good Luck Coach Dungy!!Comment
