Renting seems like a better deal sometimes, my mom has to pay 15k in property tax a year just to keep her house and it is not all that.

good point RM... gentrification can complicate things here somtimes... crazy market right now around here.... with neighborhoods changing, unstable housing market already with prices plummitting..yet due to the possible Olympics here. certain neighborhoods are still building quite a bit
