Really? Fat Joe 'gas can' Blanton is -195.

I don't care if it's the M's and fancy Jeremy Bonderman and the game is in LA, Joe Blanton should never, as is ever, be a -195 fave against anybody, and that includes half of the minor league teams.

The only thing Joe Blanton should be -195 over is against the buffet table.

    Blanton, -195

This game has 7-6 written all over it, the total is 8 and the juice is .15 on the under.
Something stinks, and it's not the deuce I just crunched in the toilet.
I get it, the M's don't score much, but still.................

dude think about this. Hes 1-10 with a 5.78 era somethin in that area and hes -200 hmmmm .ill bet this is his last shot and Socia will have him on a very short string. You guys have to look at the big picture. With a bit of fire lit under his ass i bet blanton pitches well here. If he dosnt hes gone after 3 runs anyways. With these angels bats being hot, they should win this game

Sure I do, in the old days, a gas can was pretty much applied to relievers who blew leads, around the 80's though, the term 'gas can' was being used to describe starters who got lit up as well, but originally, the term 'gas can' was a reliever who blew 2 or 3 run 9th inning leads.
                    That has changed.

But thanks for questioning my integrity, and people wonder why I don't post plays anymore.

The other hilarious one is how people say -200 plays can't be for value. That's beyond priceless. It's like these monkeys didn't even finish 3rd grade.

Blanton and -200 and value don't belong in the same sentence.

I think Angels will win but agree the price is way high. Took them -1.5 last night for 300 to win 393 Blanton hasen't been bad his last few outings and the Angels are hitting the crap oughta the ball.

Josh Hamilton should've been wearing a Mariners uniform. 0 for 5 with 3 GIDP and two key strikeouts late.

I was on the M's, but I got them early in the day so only got them at +159....which I was happy with. I cannot believe the Angels were ever as high as -195....and I cannot believe, no matter how he has looked lately, that anyone was betting at - numbers on a pitcher that is 1-10. I only graded it as a single unit play, but the smart money here was on Seattle.
