Dan Crawford is scheduled to be a referee in tonight’s Eastern Conference Finals Game 6 between the Heat and Celtics in Boston. Given the fact that the refereeing has been a major topic of discussion in this series, the fact that Crawford will officiate tonight’s game might raise some eyebrows.
Don't kid yourself that the Spurs even stand a chance. They have none. Stern wants the king to get his ring again. Dynasty!!

You just know heat fans are stupid as shit when they admit that the only reason they can win again is if stern makes it happen and not because of the quality of their team

It obvious NBA is trash. They should have the games in various cities with different refs each game in the Finals. Gotta get B.S.A. refs to when. What happen to this being a "Big Boys Game"?
AMAZING is about to happen everyone -- make the money how you want to
All that tells me is i better short nike stock because they are about to lose alot of money

Looks like they are bringing in the big guns like Joey Crawford.
Has Tim Donaghy said who he thinks is gonna win tonight?

Gotta pay for his B.S. picks to get that answer.

The fix is officially in. Not sure how you can't pour some money on Miami tonight now.

This year, the Spurs have closed out every series on their first chance. They are playing like the more desperate team and have much more urgency than Miami. I think they take this tonight.

what are the chances the swerve is on. said in another thread, the nba knows hard money coming in on the heat due to the officials led by crawford. any chance the books clean up and the refs go the other way?

I'm getting a headache from everything swirling around from espn, to LeBrick shoes, to Bosh comments, and lastly the refs. Puzzled and numb until 9:00 pm to curse. Feel like I'm being robbed unfairly. If the Spurs win the Finals, I'll just say "F" all you Heat backers. If they don't win I'll feel robbed.

Explain
A lot of history between Crawford and Duncan/Spurs
" Duncan, who was fined $25,000 for “verbal abuse of an official” for his role in the incident, told reporters in 2007 Crawford had a “personal vendetta” against him and that Crawford asked him if he wanted to fight before the ejection. “He looked at me and said, ’Do you want to fight? Do you want to fight?”’ Duncan said. “If he wants to fight, we can fight. I don’t have any problem with him, but we can do it if he wants to. I have no reason why in the middle of a game he would yell at me, ’Do you want to fight?”
"The NBA cited “improper conduct and a lack of professionalism” in suspending Crawford for the remainder of the 2006-07 season and the entire 2007 playoffs."

I actually thought the spurs would win this game until I saw Crawford in the ref line up. Crawford imo has an axe to grind for Duncan, and the NBA loves to fuel the conspiracy theorist, and flirt with the idea of its institution fixing games. This stuff just never ceases to amaze me!!!

As much as that stat sounds nice, it's absolutely false.
I just referenced 10 games, and the Heat are 6-4 in those games. Meaning, at the very least - the first part is off. That's not even counting all the other games.
If you want a stat with similar implications to the one above, check out Scott Foster and the James bias.
You remember Foster, right? Dude that got literally hundreds of phone calls from Tim Donaghy himself.
