#3These packages like ESPN and NFL are not really worth it because games are only once a week and how many games can you watch at once? Way too many games already on TV to get this package.
The best packages to get are NHL, NBA and MLB because it is ever night and bag for your buck it is way better.Comment -

#5I get enough football without it, but if you want to watch out of market games enough, it makes sense.Comment -

#6I got the early bird package for $109. In addition I also have Sunday Ticket. Did anybody purchase the superfan option? I know they had it last year. Is it worth the $99?Comment -

I also like the value of the NHL, MLB, and NBA packages. More games, for the money spent. I knew you were sharp JJ.Comment -

How much more is it?
But you got to think the price of the Sunday Ticket Package is overpriced now. Since more of the networks are carrying more games. With the NFL Network showing games this year.Comment -

#14It is $99 extra and includes more games in HD, the red zone channel, a channel to watch 8 games at once, and another channel that condenses every game into 30 minutes without commercials. I think it might really help my handicapping, so I will probably get it anyway. I just wanted some other feedback because $99 in addition to the regular package is quite pricey.Comment -

That puts that package at close to $380? Man, that is getting outrageous.Comment -

#16I do not have HD yet but will hopefully be upgrading to that in the next two months or so. Assuming I do not upgrade do you think it's still worth the extra money?Comment -

How many HD channels does the regular package have? With the price of that package, they should have everygame in HD, IMHO. With no add on pricing. They are trying to squeeze every penny out of the customers as they possibly can.Comment -

#19I'm not sure how many the regular package has, but the commercial for superfan is saying up 110 games total out of 200 are in HD.Comment -

#20Alright, I just found out the answer, the regular package has just over 50 games in HD, so you get alittle more than double the games in HD with superfan.Comment -

But remember, you will have to get a HD receiver, and those are not cheap. Unless you can get DTV to send you one out for next to nothing. But I think they charge for those things, unless your a new customer.Comment -

#26I could not live without either football package. I am very fortunate that SBG Global pays for all of my sports programming. When I signed up there about 4 years ago they set me up with a DirecTV system that included 2 receivers and installation. Each month I fax them my DirectTV bill and they credit my account for the cost of my programming. That is probably the best promotion I have ever received from a sportsbook.Comment -

So Illusion, only get it if you have a HDTV. So you can get the extra games in High Def.
I cant wait till all channels are broadcasted in HD.Comment -
