You act like he blew a five-shot lead or something.

Look at the guy's age and the schedule he's had to keep this week. I'm actually impressed he didn't completely collapse today.

Phil is borderline top 10ish. That might be reaching.

2nd best golfer of a few year period, when he never challenged for no. 1.

No... Your right, tough course! I pull for the guy but it's just frustrating watching him seemingly do this over and over again!

Odds are not good for phil at the 18th, only 11 birdies here all week.

in reality its not so much a slam on phil but people have NO FUKKIN IDEA how amazing tiger was when he was winning everything in sight

golf is about putting yourself in position to have a chance and letting the chips fall in a lot of ways....except in tigers prime...if he was in position he was winning and that was that

I have considered Phil the true "Great White Hope" due to that time period. It was amazing.

                                His sponsors are crazy.

About 6ish or so years ago, I just simply accepted the fact that he is sponsored by the Illuminati. Those companies are nuts.

I have never liked Phil. My rooting for him to fail started the first year the Accenture Match Play was held in Tucson, and his constant douchebaggyness during the Tuesday practice rds towards kids begging for his autograph.

He kept telling everyone, that he doesn't sign "during a round". (Mind you, it is a practice rd, and everyone else on the grounds to include Tiger, would take time to sign autographs after every green as there are hordes of people lined up).

Anyway, Phil goes on to constantly tell everyone that he will stay late signing Autographs at the 18th. Douchebag, never made it to 18, and the few signatures he signed were on 16, and he was charging $20 a pop.

After that, he joined that vaunted ranks of Sergio in Douchedom.

when he realized he'd never be able to hold tiger's jock he went to the nice guey/family man routine which is all bullshit...rumors abound that he knocked up some broad and paid her off to get rid of it...i dont judge based on that but after all the hell tiger's been through everyone seems to think tiger's the only one on tour fukkin around on his wife....and tiger wasnt ever trying to play the perfect husband act

Phil is one of the greatest golfers of all time. He just happened to play in an era that doesn't appreciate anyone other than the winner and he also happened to play against the best golfer of all time. For this reason he is the most underrated golfer ever.

figjam finished second to tiger once so tiger has very little to do with him not living up to expectations

if youre saying that tiger raised the bar too high for him well then i guess he's just not great
