Hey, you guys should leave my buddy Richie alone. It's not like he's Pavy, constantly trying to get people to believe that he's making tens of thousands of dollars from his gambling every week with never a bad pick. Uncle Richie is honest about his ups and downs to us, and he never puts these picks out for any other reason than trying to share his anticipated success with the forum.

You want to ream someone, go read Pavy's last 30 posts, and you'll better understand how little someone can contribute to a forum. Uncle Richie tries his best, makes us laugh, and doesn't make up stories about how wonderful his life is. Can't we just agree to respect him for his unflinching honesty?

Good points about Richkas, and I actually like the guy, but the ALL CAP $$$$$$$GUARANTEED $$$$$ WINNER $$$$$ gets to be annoying after a while, especially when they always lose.

richie does it cause he's addicted to giving out picks. it's like a drug for him to bet and be the center of attention and be a hero when it wins and if it loses, just have another shot at it the next day. richie will be doing this in 5 yrs too.. he just loves to post picks. it's an addiction to him. it makes him feel good about himself when it wins.. Even though it doesn't make sense when a guy would give 12 straight locks of the century, lose each one, then come in the next day and say, lock of the century, take so and so..

just like tony likes to do it too. It makes these boys happy to be in the center of attention and have everyone know who they have. gives them that feeling of satisfaction and greatness, especially when they win and everyone is looking up them and giving them these....

some people are just like that, and richie is one of them. He's still a good guy.

Nicky explained this masterfully. This is Uncle Richie's way of giving something back to the forum and by extension, the community that he enjoys. As all of us here are notably imperfect people, shouldn't we display some magnanimity and appreciate his threads for their intent and not their results?

It takes courage and dedication to post like Uncle Richie does, and if he chooses to make threads with all Caps and dollar signs, then can't you just be thankful that you can spot his threads without a second thought? No one ever is under any doubt about which threads are Richie's, and no one is forced to open them either. He's an honest man with a good heart, and there are a hoard of less redeemable people posting on here that are far more deserving of scrutiny and criticism.

Keep on keepin' on, Uncle Richie!
