Shortstop, once a gambler always a gambler. i have quit a thousand times and yet, here I am. Life without action is so incredibly dull that it is barely tolerable. Once you experience "that feeling" you get when you have a lot on the line and when you cash that big bet, you won't ever be able to replace it with anything else -- not love, not food, not drink, not drugs, not friendship, not religion, not a cause, NOTHING! Gambling is the be all end all!

I have become a spot bettor and have only placed 3 wagers in 2009 thus far. I look at lines all day long though. Watching the numbers change, and knowing all the spreads and final scores gives me a high. When I see an opportunity though, I pounce and I pounce hard! When i started, $5 bets were good, then 10, then 20, then 50 then a hundred, then 500, etc. Now I won't bet unless it's at least a grand on the line. I just wait for a play worthy of wagering a grand. GL!
