Will definitely close at -7.5 or maybe more once the money starts rolling in mid August and pushing it.

Will be a statement game for the Tide after coming off an off year Virginia Tech team to open the season. Saban always tells his teams they set the tone each year being a NEW group vs the last and what better scenario than this.

Manziel is a great athlete but lets be honest, one man vs this team fresh?? Last year put it in context...some fluke plays...the tipped balls and the RARE AJ INT to close it out...Bama started off flat coming off the emotional win in Tiger Stadium in that punishing game. And we all agree its a lot to pre for in one week that A&M offense spreading you all over the field and key matchups....Bama was definitely behind on it coming in last season and got bit. NEVER again.

Bama returns studs all over the field...WR corps healthy and Derrick Henry is rehabbing great right now will be in the mix with Yeldon and company. AJ's leadership and game managing...the defense will be sharp as ever with some improved young talent especially Nick Perry...he reminds me of Maze and most recently Milliner - huge talent but got burned their first year being thrown in the fire but learned and adjusted to be big time contributors.

Tide rolls 34-17 or along those lines.

Because I guarantee the line will be Alabama -7 or higher by game week. A&M snuck up on everyone last year but the 2nd time around I think Alabama will learn from their mistakes and win this one pretty easily.

BetWiz, maybe I wasn't as clear about the actual line as I should have been...regardless of where it actually closes at it's WAY off was my point.

Bama blows the doors off of them and maybe a late score brings the Aggies to within 14 or so. I was thinking a 10.5 or so line was the range for the open....and it would go back and forth from there until game time.

I agree terrible idea betting on a game 3 months away. So many factors can kill your early bet. Such as injuries, alabama not looking that great and Tex A&M playing dominant. Too many things for you to bet on today to make a bet so far away.
