...what are the odds Pierce and Garnett follow him out there?? I say even money since the Clips tried to make it happen last year.

Isn't Garnett owed like 20 mill over the next two years? Unless they restructure the contract, I don't see why anyone would want to take on KG's contract.
The Clippers and Celtics have formally opened serious discussions on multiple transactions that could potentially add up to a trade arrangement that ultimately lands Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and coach Doc Rivers in L.A., according to sources.

they realize he is nothing more than a showboat player. He might help sell tickets but thats about it he can not lead them to playoff success.

Aren't the combined ages of Garnett and Pierce like 106 years though?

CBS Sports has the latest NBA Basketball news, live scores, player stats, standings, fantasy games, and projections.
There were reported discussions heating up between the Celtics and Clippers that included Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett headed to the West Coast.
However, according to the Los Angeles Times, the deal won't be happening as the Clippers have rejected the trade.
As a result, the Clippers are moving forward and are prepared to offer their vacant coaching position to either Brian Shaw or Lionel Hollins.
The reported deal between the Celtics and Clippers had Rivers and Garnett going to the Clippers for DeAndre Jordan and two first-round picks. Eric Bledsoe's name was also involved, and he might've been the reason the talks fell apart.

Clippers should sign and trade Chris Paul and then sign his brother Cliff.
After days of wrangling, negotiating and posturing, the Los Angeles Clippers have agreed in principle to a deal with Glenn "Doc" Rivers, pending league approval, according to sources.
it's on again

Right, but they won't buy him out and get nothing for him, would be a stupid move.

They still haven't realized that Tom Thibadeau was the real brains behind the 2008, 2009 Celtics. Rivers is an average coach.

Exactly. The guy was almost fired before the big three came over.
If the Clips can still get Garnett, I won't mind taking Rivers though.

Who ever thought they would see the day where a head coach would voluntarily leave the Celtics to go work for the Clippers?

Clippers looking to get something for Bledsoe soon. Watching Clippers live right now they are very excited for the coming season. Deandre Jordan says he wants to be defensive player of the year, Blake said this is the most hes been excited, CP will very likely resign, things are looking bright for the Clipper nation.
