It's because the leagues best players are black or non-white. Whites used to say "we're smarter and blacks are more athletic". Now they can even say that. Some of the most well respected coaches and players are calling LBJ a genius. Not only is a black guy the most athletic and skilled, he's also the smartest. Whites just tend to be racists, especially white Christians. It's in their DNA to be judgemental.
