    San Francisco Giants +174
This is more of a value play than anything else as I can't pass up on the Giants at such a nice price. As bad as Zito has been he should benefit from PNC park here. Liriano has also looked good so far and PNC park is also a perfect fit for him. I think this game will be closer than the odds suggest and I will take my chances with the Giants.

I'm on it, was going to write up a post on this as well.
Let's get this ****** up price.
Never in my life would I ever thought I could see Liriano -185 again after his last full season pitching. He won't last.

Barry Zito will try to do Wednesday what Lincecum failed to do in the opener: put a halt to his road struggles this season. The veteran lefty is 0-3 with a 10.19 ERA in four starts away from home in 2013.
Zito has offset that with some solid outings at home, but he picked up his first setback in San Francisco of this season on Wednesday with a 4-0 loss versus Toronto. Zito allowed all four of the Blue Jays' runs in the fifth inning, yielding a total of seven hits and three walks over the six-inning outing.
The 35-year-old lost for the third time in his past four decisions and is 4-4 on the season with a 4.06 ERA in 12 starts. Zito is 2-3 in his career versus the Pirates with a 3.73 ERA in seven starts.

Folks stop looking at ERA without looking at FIP, XFIP or SIERRA.

Easy, from one Met fan to another- talk yourself out of it. I understand not laying -180 at this point, but don't buy the Giants tonight.

Agreed. These guys don't know how crucial having Pagan and Sandoval is...and now Scuturo too?
                            On Pitts for a unit.

Zito is 0-4 in road games this season.
However I was wrong before saying Zito has bad numbers against Pitts. 2-0 last season but barely squeaking out those wins with rbis from guys no longer on the Giants and now with three key guys out? No thanks.

One thing for sure is Pitts can hit Zito for sure and if he doesn't get run support then he's in trouble. Another thing is guys playing this just for value on SF...you all know how that goes. Might as well throw your money on Houston at +200 odds if that's your logic.
