Hmmm is this a trap? Line was at -135 this morning thought the value on Chi sox would be gone. Now back to -115.

              This.

Hell, it basically opened as a PK. If that doesn't tell you to stay away, I don't know what does.

another one i cant figure out is boston vs tampa tonight lester opens -140 and drops to -126....rays pitcher(hernandez) has had success this yr against the poor hitting teams and struggled against decent to good teams.....after a fairly long extra inning game wouldn't lester seem to be the guy who will give u 6-7 innings minimum...? strange lines tonight.

                        Carper.

You got a team that has led the league or been second in number of flyballs hit this year. How the fukk are they gonna hit that sinker with their bats pointed at the sky.

Wang Chung has only allowed 2 homers in 9 starts this year. His ground ball ratio is the same as it always was. He strikes out few, pitches to contact and is tougher on righties than he is lefties by far. He is going to see 3 lefties tonight. D'Aza, Dunn and Gillespie (2 hits in the last fukkin two weeks).

                        Carper pay attention.

You mean in AAA. He's not facing the Marlins tonight, so that could pose a bit of a problem.

Last year, he made 5 MLB starts. 3 homers, and he generally got lit up. He never once went more than 5 and a third innings.

Wang looked good in WBC. I think you can compare the white sox offense to that of Australia or Italy

Great instance to fade the public, everyone expects Wang to suck but really he's playing for a future contract, motivation will be there. Jays have been playing well lately

I expect Wang to pitch pretty good tonight, 3 runs in 6 innings or so.

Would I bet money on that? Hell no.

Yis. The White Sox are by far the worst hitting team in baseball over the last several months now. They are by no means any better than Miami at all. There are Triple A teams that are better.

Chang Mung was on a pitch count last year in his comeback after surgery. He is stretched out now and has been efficient in AAA. Has been over 100 3X but has been so efficient that 80-90 is getting him to the 7th and beyond.

This may or may not be a case of a guy who is simply a bit healthier than the minds eye perception.

                                  Konerko hits him.
Not that won/loss records mean all that much, and, and he did pitch for those Yankee teams, but one does have to consider he is a 61 and 32 lifetime pitcher.

                                  That is pretty impressive.

yeah and Phil Hughes has a great win/loss record too. Irrelevant.

When you get great run support, you'll have a good record, even if you're a poor pitcher.

From 2009-2013, he has 15 total MLB wins. That means more than his career record.

Ramon Ortiz stinks (so his injury didn't really hurt Toronto) but I don't think Wang is much better.

Chicago still the better play. I don't think the Jays hit him even though they have been better of late against lefties. They don't hit the cutter at all and Quintana has a good one.

Watching every pitch. Throws one pitch and one pitch only. Missing up in the zone after 43 pitches. Nothing for the lefties. Sinker against righties is still an out pitch.

Someone would be wise to give this guy a job a s a middle inning reliever for cheap. He can induce a doulble play.
