I went and saw Gran Torino this afternoon, outstanding F'N movie, funny as hell. You will not be disappointed!

It's on my list of movies I definitely want to see if I ever get some free time to do so. Clint Eastwood is one of the last great actors we have left.

Archie, this one set the bar for movies for the last five years. I have never been so engrossed in a movie that I watched at the show since I saw Mystic River. I really am at a loss for words, which doesn't happen often to me. You guys have to go out and see it. Take a break from the games, fill up a flask, roll a joint, and go WATCH THIS MOVIE! Seriously...you'll watch this movie with your kids in twenty years and tell them about the day you bailed on watching the games to see this flick. It will make the day you saw it become an occasion, it's that memorable.

Even better than Carol O'Connor as Archie Bunker?

There has been scuttlebutt that this will be Clint's last acting role. For that reason alone, I will have to see it.

But the main point is, I couldn't have more respect for the guy as a director.

Little known fact: Eastwood also composes music, including the score for Mystic River and collaborating on Gran Torino. I don't say he is one of the all-time greats in that regard, but I find it interesting.

I'm behind on my movie-watching. Gotta catch up.

I wish Clint did more westerns when he was younger. Palerider, The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, High Plains Drifter....fvcking incredible. Wish there were more like that around.
