Saw "The Wrestler"... great flick

No Hollywood bulls--t... just a very real-feeling story of a wrestler getting on in years. Mickey Rourke is amazing -- he is really "inside" this character, you feel like you're watching a real guy.

And though he does look like hell (apparently became a boxer in the 90s and then got some bad plastic surgery), the guy put on 35 pounds of muscle and looks JUST like a pro wrestler!

Also can't go wrong with a nude Marisa Tomei, and the ridiculously beautiful Evan Rachel Wood as his daughter. Man, her eyes pierce my soul.

Not entirely nude, as she is an A-list actress and this is still an American movie... but plenty of above-waist nudity and below-waist thong-only.

Yup, in theatres... Mickey Rourke definitely gets nominated for an Oscar for this, and could win. Prob takes the Golden Globe too.

saw it last night. Very good. some interesting themes. strong acting, depressing feel,depiction of American life.

Caught the matinee today, one helluva movie! Really captured the Independent Wrestling Scene and how brutal it can be for "broke down" ex -stars. Mickey Rourke was very believable and most definately deserved that Golden Globe he won last night. Marisa Tomei is looking smoking hot, and does a nice job as well. This is very high on my reccommended list, dont miss it!
