Finally saw "Tyson" the other day
Docu-drama from 2008. One of the best I've seen -- ever. Mike Tyson is the most unique and compelling entertainer I've ever seen in my lifetime, and probably the most underrated mind any sport has ever produced. His interviews are raw, candid and engaging. Well worth the time if you're a fan -- or even if you aren't.

        What were you disappointed by?

I was actually impressed by how much ownership Tyson took of his own demise, even though he had so many "leeches" around him. Like he said, though, not only did he allow it to happen -- he encouraged it.

Just a fascinating two hours, even though I knew almost everything about him and his lifestyle beforehand.

            I watched this years ago.

One thing about Tyson, he is always honest and speaks his mind.

Considering his reputation, the fact that he was made fun of for the way that he talked and his "schtick"ish personality, I think he'd surprise a lot of people as being a lot deeper than what they assume.

I remember the documentary kind of making feel sorry for Tyson. He was misguided early in his life and taken advantage of by a lot of people.

In his prime, he was the baddest man on the planet no doubt. I love watching some of his old fights.

It's hard to truly succeed in that kind of lifestyle given his lack of social skills from such a dysfunctional childhood. He was a product of his own environment, both good and (mostly) bad, throughout his life. It was actually refreshing to see how he wanted to strictly live for his kids in the future.

I still watch his fights all the time to this day.

I liked the HBO Tyson movie with Michael Jai White.

Saw this when it first came out. Really makes Tyson look human. I love Tyson. So glad that guy was able to turn his life around and become a decent and positive person.

I recently saw that this documentary is on netflix and was thinking of watching it again! I think Ijust might now!

You just may have the most original forum name I have ever seen sir. It made me laugh, I apologize if that wasn't the intent however.
