I was coming home around 5am last night and I was following all the laws of obeying the speed limits and I happen to witness some guy drive right into a telephone pole. Well, needless to say I turned around to try and help the guy out and it turned out he was drunk as a skunk.
I tried to help him out the best I could, but when I heard the sirens I tried the best I could to get that gentlemen to flee the scene because I knew the cops were going to bust him with him with a DUI. He refused to leave his car that was impaled into the telephone pole and when the cops arrived on the scene they drilled me with all sorts of questions trying to implicate me into this crap. After about 20 minutes I finally convinced the cops I was the first one on the scene and was making sure the guy was alright, they let me go.
This is a prime example of why you never try and help people out, because the cops will try and implicate you as an accessory.
