pico just lucked out a little
He just clinched his contest with seaborneq. The best seaborneq can do is +1.81 based on what he picked, he can't beat pico's +1.86.

I can't believe that seaborneq didn't take the Mavs total under at +110, if he would have taken that, he could have beaten pico +1.91 to +1.86. (That's the only plus odds on the board today and thus the only such chance.)

This isn't the first time I've seen someone in a contest fail to go for the win on the last play. iwinyourmoney did it last year. He guaranteed himmself a loss versus bigorangetitans by not taking a big enough dog.

Are people paying attention out there?

I am paying attention Fearless. I am paying attention. If one of my opponents down the road to the Finals gives me a chance to make up ground because of what he picks, I will take advantage.

You shocked me too. You didn't have to make any picks today, why did you do it?

I cannot lose. I made picks for the fun of it. Unless my math is wrong, or I didn't read the contest rules correctly, I have nothing to lose (nothing to gain) but I am the type of guy to play the max 12 just to get my picks out in the open.

If you miss your last two and your opponent hits his last 3 then you lose. Small chance but I had almost the same situation with Bread in the last tourney. Bread had to hit his last 3 and I had to lose my last one, it happened and I lost.
