Porcello dealing today against the O's
Don't expect a repeat in his next start. He's in the fifth right now but usually the fifth/sixth is his trouble spot. If he gets out of this game allowing no runs I will fade him next start and consider and over play.

Mike Illitch will trade his hair piece for a closer.

He has which is why, in my opinion after watching him for the last couple of years, is that he's due for a,bit of a slip up. This is a lean with no other basis to back it up until game day.

6 of last 7 starts have been quality starts. He is in a zone right now. The sinker is sinking for him and staying out of the middle of the plate. Getting ahead of hitters consistently is helping him a lot

Leyland isn't helping him by leaving him in for the 7th. Porcello would not pitch more than 6 if tigers had a bullpen right now.

Not saying he hasn't pitched well but he is what he is, a 5th starter not a,front of the rotation guy. My opinion is a fade in his next start.

              Calling Todd Jones....

Tigers should know their players and porcello clearly tires after 5/6 innings and he has since he came into the league as a high school phenom. Now he s on the hook for 2 guys with coke in. Tough luck start for, porcello. Just like all the other tiger starters

You were right, porcello pitched to the best of his abilities which happens to be 6 innings.

Glad to see Jason Grilli wasn't needed here and was brooded away for a diet coke a few yrs ago.

Yea thats why no one talks to pitchers during a no-hitter right. Next time wait till the bubble bursts. And keep your poor inside 1st inning intel bets to yourself.
