That's not what I was saying.

Dagger, unless you start ragging on me like all the other caveman homophobes on here, I think you're just fine. You call things as you see them, and I appreciate that. Very seldom have a read a post from you that I didn't feel was illustrating some aspect of the truth with creative hyperbole. We need people like you around here, people that don't trip over themselves with censorship. For my part, I say keep up the good work.

Sorry to intrude, but Speaking of the ol' college vs NFL argument. She, beaing my cook, and I had a debate (or short talk) last week about USC vs Detroit from the NFL. I stand by the fact that the NFL is to strong and way much faster to have any worry over an NCAA team beating a PRO team in any scenario.

You earn an income by doing questionable practices ace.
You would be on the street if you weren't selling picks, you sure aren't a winner.

Why do some people believe it's so far-fetched?
USC is far more talented than the Raiders as they have at least 20 future 1st rounders on their roster and over 90% will play in the NFL some day. Raiders are full of outcasts from other teams and free agents, some who weren't even good enough to be drafted.
If you were given an NFL franchise and had to draft players from either the Raiders or the Trojans roster, which would you choose? I'll bet majority would pick the latter because they have far more talented players across the board. This is why so many Trojans start right away as rookies in the NFL.
Plus, it's not there isn't any precedence when it comes to college vs. pros. They actually played against each other 42 times and not only did the pros not go 42-0, winning each game by 70 pts, but the college team WON 9 times and tied TWICE! The largest margain the pros won by was 38 and the largest college won by was 20. And this was back when pro talent weren't as diluted as it is today with so many teams and a salary cap which hampers teams from signing all the best players.

Didn't say you were a fraud because you lied.
The fact that you charge for picks when you're losing in every sport and contest makes you a fraud.

Dagger, you have opinions. Without opinions on this forum, you might as well not be here. I respect that you put your neck out there when you are passionate about what you think. Do I think USC could beat the Raiders? No. Do I think your opinion made for an interesting read? Yes. That is all that matters

20 future first rounders? Really?
Even if that were true, you are still comparing current NFL talent (Raiders)versus projected NFL talent (USC).
I have a hard time believing an 18-19 year old fresh/soph could line up and beat an NFL player.
Take a look at the 2005 USC team. They were significantly better offensively than today's version of USC. They had 2 Heisman winners in Leinhart and Bush on that team. How'd things turn out for Matt and Reggie. Matt couldn't beat our 427 year old Kurt Warner in Arizona and Reggie has done little in New Orleans. And please, outside of Keyshawn, can you name a USC WR who has made an impact in the NFL in the the last 10 years?
My point. If the very best players from the USC 2005 team couldn't make a dent in the NFL, how can you possibly expect Mark Sanchez and Joe McKnight to beat Oakland?

You don't have to believe it.... but as I've said there's precedence between pros and college. College teams have beaten the pros 9 times and tied 2 times in 42 games. That's 26% of the times where the pros could not beat a bunch of 18 & 19 year olds!!!!! And this was prior to the expansion and a salary cap.
Leinart was the Cardinals starter as a rookie and did quite well. But injuries and his partying lifestyle caught up with him. You make it seem like Warner is chopped liver... the guy was a 2 time NFL MVP and a SB MVP plus was the odds on favorite to win the MVP for the third time this season at least for the 1st half of the season.
And there was another guy on that 2005 team you forgot.... Matt Cassel. You know him right? He wasn't good enough to even get off the bench in college yet is going to be franchise tagged by the Patriots. How's that for talent? Even a 7th rd pick is being franchised.
You think Reggie Bush is a bust? Name another part time RB who has scored 24 TDs in his first 38 games.
Who cares about WRs? You think the Raiders' receivers are any good? Their best receiver is a former college QB for gawd sakes!
But there are USC WRs in the NFL.... Keary Colbert, Dwayne Jarrett and Steve Smith, who won the Super Bowl with the Giants last season.
Have you even seen the Raiders roster? Who on there is any good? There's only 3 players on that roster I'd take over a Trojan counterpart: Nnamdi Asomugha, Shane Lechler and Sebastian Janikowski. That's it. Unless you think DuMarcus Russell and McFadden aren't busts? Damn, even their best RB is a former Trojan in Justin Fargas.

Ah but i'm not, you are just too lazy to research my records and are only looking at my NBA and CBB so far this year (with still a long way to go), and completely ignoring the fact that I won at every other sport.
As for contests, they are too short-term to be meaningful.
