Thought it was my last day about 6 months ago. Made a post wishing everyone luck and lamenting the state of the industry and forum community. Asked to have my account disabled and Shari took care of that graciously. Did not burn any bridges on the way out the back door.

Wrecked a knee this spring and bored out of my mind, asked to be reactivated. Not much to see here lately but it has helped pass some time.

Probably best to leave the door open a crack. You never know what hand you are dealt moving forward.

Interesting input. I see the appeal to fading away silently. Anything else is a bit narcissistic however PT was built on over sharing, drama, burials, farewells, POTM which never had a thing to do about capping and general bullshitting. Granted, quite a bit has changed in the last year or so. I would expect with the crowd left, fading away would be the most popular answer as those left see themselves as purists here and above the PT antics. I view bidding adieu more of closure than seeking attention.

Ironically, over the years, some of the biggest winners rarely talked about plays nor released games often enough to be considered as helpful to the board. They were here for entertainment only. While SBR is doing fine, there's no denying from either side that it has changed significantly over the last year. JJ leaving and the BI scandal seem to be two major catalysts for the changes.

Is it better or worse? Well, I guess that depends upon which side of the bathroom door you're standing.

It was just a general question. However, if I was leaving it would be because the quantity of pussy around this place has been on the decline for some time. That's the only reason I was ever here in the first place. It should be the only reason any dude was ever around here.

Years ago, the rooster to non-rooster ratio was around 100:1. That was ideal because there was plenty to be had and being better looking than 99.00001% of the posters, I was pulling fresh oyster from this place on the reg.

Now it's however many male SBR posters there are to 1. So roughly 12:1. So there is only 1. Back then there was about 20-30 non roosters running around here. The odds just don't add up anymore.

Therefore I would be leaving for that reason solely.

Mikee is right on here, Ive met many posters and have many posters numbs/email. All good peoples and one oddball (ZeldaPsi808).

98% of the forum can kiss Sweepers arse, the select 2% I am actually glad to have met/talked too.

At the end of the day any forum is only what you yourself make of it.
