I think you made a tactical mistake because if your competitor takes the lead late, there may be no games left for you pick and make up ground. What's your strategy here?

I say that in the first round and possibly for more rounds, the top 50% should advance. For example, we'd rank the top 128 after the first round and the top 64 would move on in the first round. It would eliminate the problem you've got and the legend LT Profits could stay around longer.

I like the play in round idea...the prescription had a baseball one like that where they would match whoever finished + the most with the bottom guy for the first round and kept a running total and instead of being a bracket it was based on overall seeding each round. Rewarded a little more consistency but the bottom guy could still get hot and knock out one of the top guys.

I mean, what's happening to you in your contest is ridiculous, it should never happen to anyone. We can actually eliminate this kind of thing in the first round by using the play in round. If we can make things better, more fair and accurate, then I think we should.

Yeah it would definitely make things more interesting and ensure the best of the best would move on. I don't have any pull...not an insider at all. Just someone who offers some help when work isn't busy.
