Not negative, just being real. Texas is tearing the cover off the ball. Kansas City playing hungover. Streak ended, late comeback, George Brett, 4 1/2 hour rain delay, late flight, shit sleep, late hotel check in, prob little to no BP today. Lots of things against them. I like that BIGDAY is trying the contrarian route though.

When they tag the Rangers at <=-200 home favorites in the first game of a series they are 13-0 SU and 12-1 on the RL since June 27th 2010 (ave margin of victory 4.2 runs) 1-0 this season Darvish 7, Saunders 0.

I'm not sure about those numbers but regardless of how much they scored in previous games...the Royals are 4-11 vs LHP and 2-9 vs LHP in the AL. Doesnt look so good for the Royals. Should be a easy W for the Rangers especially after the lengthy rain delay.

The Royals then had to fly to Texas to take on a Rangers team that is coming off a 9-5 victory yesterday. The Rangers are 33-20 on the season and 16-7 at home. The Royals are 22-29 on the year and 12-15 on the road. T0night's starter for Kansas City is Wade Davis who is 3-4 with a 5.71 ERA, .341 OBA and 1.87 WHIP. An opponents batting average over .300 and a whip nearing 1.90 isn't going to have much success in the Majors, and tonight he will be facing one of the hottest lineups. The Rangers are 3rd in the Majors with a .271 team average, 3rd in team slugging % at .443 and 5th with 66 homeruns (compared to KC who has just 29 and sits 27th in the league in slugging %). The Rangers will have southpaw Derek Holland on the mound who is 4-2 with an impressive 2.97 ERA, .241 OBA and 1.16 WHIP. Royals stand no chance with a garbage pitcher going up against a hot offense and very good pitcher. Texas will win by 3+ easily. Just because they pulled a miracle last night doesn't mean it will happen again.

You are a fukkin fool and have NO business posting that garbage. While I'm not on this game, the Royals do have a chance ...sometimes outcomes happen aside the normal " garbage pitcher vs a good offense" . Think outside the box a bit.

A fool for posting the truth ok? The Rangers are a way stronger play. You keep on having that opinion of outcomes happen aside the normal and you will turn into lakerboy and picking and losing on underdogs non-stop.

Never said either Tex or KC was a strong pick. I would favor KC for value, gun to head. I can see KC winning...I already posted a strong trend in this thread on TX. Perhaps, since you questioned my ability to cap MLB, let's do a challenge. 100 plays (all underdogs), 2 plays min per day..loser leaves SBR. Set it up!

they are professionals, but honestly how many hours of sleep could they have gotten? maybe a nap on the plane ride and then a few hours at the hotel. granted you can be tired and still play baseball, but they have to be feeling that late game at least a little bit. GL but i see this one going like TEX last game. they go up alot early, and they only way the +1.5 has a chance is late in the game if your lucky.
