does it seem like we can no longer give american league the edge?

is this the result of too many interleague games?

i can't believe teams like detroit and texas are getting worked by crappy national league teams.

    what's the deal?

        lol detroit.

texas most likely would've lost tonight also if it didn't get postponed...

NL might get home field advantage again for world series with kershaw and harvey pitching

they need to get rid of this bs.

now that there are so many interleague games, just give the team with the best record the home field advantage.

never really understood this stupid rule...

How many times (in a row) have we seen the powerhouse team of the AL (and sometimes the league) get crushed in the World Series by a pretty "average" team.

Shit, that first Giants WS they might have had the most inept offense among playoff teams.

I love the NL, have been an NL homer my whole life. Publicly I dislike the DH - in private I wish the NL adopted it.

damn i hate the giants (i have friends that are big time giants fans)

                    bunch of over-achieving bums...

but explain to me why the winner of the allstar game gets the home field advantage.

can you imagine if that were to happen in the nba or in nhl? it's ridiculous.

Jews don't care about fairness. They are driven by dollars, and the All-Star game was failing due to the fact that it meant less than a Tee-ball game.

I hate it, but it has made that one game (which should mean nothing) a lot more competitive.

apparently a lot of people forgot about the tie game

THAT is why the asg determines home field, and only that

                              never made sense

it was a stupid knee jerk overreaction to a debacle that never should have happened

I see it a bit different. The tie game afforded Selig the opportunity to change. Nothing more than a helpful incident to help put his filthy handprints on another part of this game.

There were always rumors of changes surrounding the game for years before the tie game.

Anyway, best All-Star moment I can remember: Ozzie Smith's last all-star game. I am a die hard cubs fan, but Ozzie was above petty fanaticism. No idea why I brought that up.

Every league has its mny flaws but I agree home field for the W.S. should not be determined by 1 lousy all star game. Nba needs to do away with the lottery scam as well. Draft should be based on record. And Goodell doing all he can to fukk up the Nfl and put his stamp on it like no other!
