Thinking about maybe going pro around when football season hits if this site doesn't go down any further. I've seen some say 5K, 4K, 3K, and 2K so I'm just wondering which one it actually is so I don't waste my time.

#4plus if you have never been a pro you will need to donate $200 to a charity to become a pro, if you have been a pro before you can become pro again using 3000 points. But then you start out with zero points since can not keep anything over 3000Comment -

#5Yeah so according to your join date wilfred you may have to donate the $200 or do the sportsbook option if your allowed.Comment -

#14This is what the Become a Pro page says:
"Press the submit button below and wait two to four business days to enjoy double SBR points and more PRO benefits. *After becoming SBR Pro, a Non-Pro whose balance exceeds 5,000 SBR points will be reset to exactly 5,000. Former Pros that let their membership lapse will also be reset to 5,000 points."Comment -

#25SBR Staff: Hi. How can I help you?
kraken: I was thinking about going pro but was informed only 3k of my points would transfer, is this true?
SBR Staff: yes
kraken: Who can negotiate that?
SBR Staff: no one
kraken: no one? lol
kraken: someone has to be able to
kraken: someone decided to go from 5k to 3k
SBR Staff: if you have more than 3k points when you become a pro your points are reset to 3k
SBR Staff: same rule for everyone... it's listed in the policies on the FAQs page
kraken: I understand
kraken: however, everything is negotiable
kraken: who is your boss
kraken: I'd like to transfer all of my points and donate more than the $200
SBR Staff: sure however out of the hundred+ people i've seen try to negotiate
kraken: I think they'd go for it
SBR Staff: they've all received the same answer: it's non negotiable
SBR Staff: and some were only a couple of hundred points over
SBR Staff: try PM'ing Lou
SBR Staff: he'll provide you with the answer
kraken: Alright, is he in charge?
SBR Staff: yep
kraken: ok... thank you.
SBR Staff: have a good day
kraken: Do I PM him at SBR_FORUM
kraken: or SBR_CONTEST

#30Thanks for the points Drinker, gonna take them to the casino right now.
Last week I had about 20k points and I thought about cashing them out for hats and shirts
But then SBR would have my address and wonder why my IP address is different
Nino, it's still on the table.
Drinker has about convinced meComment
