        Never go on Gulbis unless he's playing very good players. He always loses the games you expect him to win, and wins all the games you expect him to lose. And he has no mental toughness..

          Gulbis always does this, it's why he's not really progressed over the last year. He was at the same stage as Cilic and Del Potro a year back (exactly the same age as him within a month), ranked around 50-60. Now Cilic is top20, Del Potro top 10. Gulbis is still 50ish.


          Tennis is a cruel game, and Gulbis had better get moving. Gasquet showed that a talented 19yr old that develops just slightly wrong can end up not really achieving anything much in the game. For comparison, Djokovic won a masters aged 6 months younger than Gulbis is now, and the Aussie Open at the same age. There's no sign of Gulbis being anywhere near that level - he's only ever made one quarter final of a masters.
