After betting and losing my retirement savings on a bull shit 3 run loss the other day I took out a payday AND a car title loan and put half on Yanks and the other half on a 3 way parlay with his picks. I doubt anyone with a clue took this lump seriously. If they did think he was the real deal then they needed to learn a lesson anyway. I find it hard to believe that anyone except possibly some young kid would see the title of this thread and think it was true. Especially when plenty of the older guys in here stated he had no chance.

These threads seem to come around several times each year and they ALWAYS end badly. If a young buck lost some money because of this, it is probably better than finding out that most painful lesson in gambling, one that every gambler learned the hard way , at some point. Better now, than when they are older and a wife and kids are involved.

We have all sustained 70% for a small period of time at some point, just not forever, and it's never easy or guaranteed.

Nothing in life is either of those .

If it looks too good to be true, it is.

No one took him seriously, that is why we are all slamming him now. Anyone who knows anything about the sports betting industry knows no one hits 70% unless it is huge chalk (like tennis favorites). Colin Cowherd had a 70%+ streak going with his blazing 5 football picks last year, but even he said the odds of him hitting at that pace again next year would be somewhere like 25,000/1.....OP has made great fade material so far though. If you are betting him on the fade you would be up a pretty penny. Maybe he will keep posting fade material.

I read this forum quite often but rarely feel compelled to post. I saw the title of this thread when it started and figured I would do what all intelligent bettors do and have some knowledge and fact to base my financial decisions upon. I then saw one of his postings that his handicapping routine consisted of a bowel movement, nicotine and a hunch. This is the utter definition of a "public" or "square" bet. Being a square doesn't always mean you'll be wrong, but it does me you will lose far more money than you will win over the long run. His odds just proved correct far sooner than most public or chalk bettors. Additionally, betting big chalks with consistency in the MLB is a sure fire way to realize that you are not a professional handicapper.

The real reason I was motivated to post was with the sincerest of hopes that no one truly lost money based on this gentleman's opinion alone. If you did, you may be realizing you are not a professional either.

I have been handicapping for many years and for those of you have been doing it for years know, there is no such thing a "sure thing" and to be doing for years you have to be dedicated, desciplned, and above all else, profitable.

I truly hope people without knowledge would listen on this forum more than they speak as this would allow the more seasoned and successful handicappers to heard more, and thusly, make everyone more money. Is that not the point of this site, to beat the book? Maybe I'm just getting old and don't understand the compulsion most have to be heard regardless of the fact that they have nothing of worth to say.

Lets be respectful and make money.

I always enjoy discussing my record of success, though I have never seen a reason to promote or expose myself on SBR due to the treatment that many of the talented handicappers receive when they have a few losing days. Many posters on here have wisdom to share if you're willing to listen. Research matters, bankroll management matters, historical numbers matter, little know information matters, getting the best line matters. We all work hard for what we have (I assume) why would we not work hard to protect it.
