My thoughts on the legend on "Sick Gambler"

I have put some thought into this. I think JJGold invented SickGambler as a life lesson to all gamblers. I remember JJ making a comment saying "SickGambler is at the SBR Bash, find him and I will give you $400".

All the things JJ has said, like Sicky was the best there ever was. He had all this stuff then he went broke and is living in the streets.

I think he is trying to say we aere ALL sick gambler. We all think we can cap the shit outa games, we win some and have a few grand in our pocket so we go buy expensive shoes and whatever, we feel like we are top notch gamblers......then we get cocky and shit hits the fan.

You guys see where I am going with this one?

I don't think so. I personally know for an absolute fact that SickGambler is one of the best gamblers of our time. SBR has helped him collect from books that were trying to stiff him. The amounts were quite amazing...

I have to believe that John's credibility is second to none on this forum, considering it's his construct that we are all parts of. Iwin's supposition could be explained by John himself being Sick Gambler, and the fact that in the process of straightening out his own issues with sportsbooks he envisioned a business that was devoted to offering the same process to offshore gamblers at large.

The guy may have been an offshore gambler at one time, early days of the forums. Used to be some stuff on MajorWager. I always thought that when the guy stopped hanging out in forumville JJ kinda of took over pumping him, maybe a few ghosts here and there, stretching a few old stories. JJ just wove him into his online persona which he's obviously been compensated for over the years. I mean JJ really was probably the first guy to do personal videos on a sports forum, really has changed the forums if you think about it. At this point boys I don't think "sickler" is anything more than JJ entertaining us........which is what he does best.

Actually Bread it was a puzzle that I had identified for myself some months ago and I simply retain an electronic filing system for notes I make on any project I engage myself in. When it was addressed publicly by Iwin I thought I would honor my fellow SBR-izens by sharing some of my notes, of which the quote was one.

I also would submit that Sick Gambler may be Bill Dozer, and that he and John may have an association that predates the existence of SBR and he may have provided the business concept to which John was able to implement. This is all mere conjecture, I'm an extremely new member to this community and I'm sure others here with more experience would be able to comment more intelligently on these possibilities.
