jj, you are right, gambling does a take a toll on you... when you sit there all day sat and sun from 10 am till midnight looking at screen and watching games, it's fukkin exhausting.. and all this to end up at even for the weekend, OR down huge.. we gamblers don't get enough recognition, it's a freakin tough job. we should get 100k a year just for doing it. it's very stressful and hard as hell on the brain. we have no time to go out and enjoy life and meet people.. we're always in front of pc..

also, if all people that shorted me, did it the way you did it, life woudl be great. you gave 480 out of 880.. and you were so polite. if you did this to me, i'd pat you on the back and say, don't worry about it buddy, you can give me 50 a week for 8 weeks.. only because you weren't an ahole or arrogant and you were honest.. everyone that usually owed me were nowhere as nice as you and were all jerks.

what a memory you have? that was like in 1999 or 2000.. being a bookie was great and the money was great, but not worth it anymore.. too many hassles.. people dont pay, they threaten to call cops, you get arrested, spend time in jail overnight, pay a fine, your name in newspaper next day.. i got busted 2 times in 3 weeks.. i am now not allowed in states. when you're a bookie, you sleep like shit, you are paranoid, always looking over your shoulders.. every noise i'd hear in the hallway, i'd jump out of bed thinking my door would get busted down, which it did 2 times..

offshore is great cause you have your own hrs, it's legit, you work when you want... you are your own boss..etc..
