Worst beat I've had in a while

Considering how fortunate I thought I was when I placed the wager and left the house this loss was crushing.

I found Drexel +4.5 +117 looking through alt. lines before game time yesterday. Widely available closing for them was +3.5 -110. I got in 3.5u each on James Madison -3.5 -105 and -3.5 -110 for a nice middle. Drexel is winning at half time and for a little of the second half until JM takes the lead but doesn't pull away. JM up three until (Drexel on the left JM on the right):

your worst beat ever was a middle?? jeeeeeesh.. i thought you were going to say you lost 4k on it.. people have lost tens of thousands on a bad beat and you lost a few bucks on of juice and this is your worst beat of all time?

It's not the amount of the money it's the way it happened, IMO. Especially finding a gem so far off WA, coming so close to a middle, and then losing it on a meaningless, literal last-second dunk. You don't think that's a bad beat? Who cares how much $$$ it is that doesn't define something to be a bad beat or not. Someone could lose one single penny and it's still a bad beat.

Also, I lost about 6.5 units that's not exactly chump-change to me....

That's about as hard to take as it gets. Find the thread about how Toronto went from leading by 4 with like two and a half minutes left to losing by 10 with a spread of -9 and you'll feel better.

Ah yes fearless I wasn't on that game but I remember reading threads about it. That's a really bad one, too. Thank god I wasn't on that and this one

one of my worst was stanford ucla last year. Stanford was +8.5 and they were up 17 at halftime. They blew the lead and it went into overtime. Ucla was up 8 with 4 seconds left and stanford missed a shot and russell westbrook did the same thing ran across the court and got a dunk

I believe North Carolina basketball covered a couple -9 games in OT last year. Can't recall the teams.

Yeah you have to wonder what the guys are thinking when they do that? I obviously don't know the exact number but it must be at least 95% of the time in that situation the guy dribbles the ball a couple times and then walks off the court with it or drops it. Fkin showboats

Plus in that Drexel game the JM player got the rebound with six seconds left and the guy dunked it with 0 on the clock. They had to hurry to get the ball down there for the dunk

Oh well enough complaining I was on the lucky side of that Dolphins missed extra point u37
