Ball St/ Tulsa Info that may be helpful (GMAC Bowl)
Boys, I get a newsletter(scoop) mailed to me if there is any coaching changes or breaking news at every level. Looking over it I saw some info that may be helpful to you.

"San Diego State: Sources tell us that a difficult situation is arising at Ball State where former Head Coach Brady Hoke has apparently offered at least 4 of the current assistants (Eddie Faulkner - RBs, Darrell Funk - OL, Jeff Hecklinski - WRs & Recruiting and Aaron Wellman - S&C) positions with him at SDSU. The late date of the Ball St. bowl game (Jan 6th) makes the situation difficult for everyone involved."

    My take:
I will say this: Gus Malzahn OC at Tulsa has left to go to Auburn but everything seems to be going smooth with the transition. Tulsa HC Todd Graham just signed a new 10 yr extension so there is alot more stability at Tulsa. Things shouldn't change much on Tulsa's end but this may prove a huge distraction for Ball St. If guys are jetting from Ball St then they won't have their focus on this game. Preparation will suffer. I'm on Tulsa anyway so this just confirms it for me.

    Agree.

One of Hoke's assistants at Ball has been given the head coaching job, but rumors have abounded that many others are leaving.

A bad scene, generally, when assistants are paying less attention to the game plan than in finding a nice (foreclosed) house in sunny San Diego.

Can't blame 'em. San Diego or Muncie - hey, where's the plane?

          These coaches are professionals.

Besides, you are forgetting about Dante Love, State will win it for him.

Don't forget also that Ball St had a total meltdown vs Buffalo so I don't think this team is very confident right now.

OK Seer, you were right in this one, Ball State does not even want to play in this game.
