Point And Click Betting From SBR Live Lines
When will this happen? I want to see a line on the screen and all I have to do is click the line and it goes right to my pinnacle account screen to confirm the wager.

I believe some Euro websites do this especially with horses.

Jjgold, that would put this site into a whole different category- a bet facilitator. I assume this site is located in the US, Right? Legal or not, I would bet the Dept. of Justice would take a hard look. Probably determine this site is a de facto bookie. I’m not an attorney, or someone really familiar with the parameters of the gaming industry, but this would be a foolish step to take right now, IMO.

The Dept. of Justice can make anyone’s life a living hell if they wish to. I would have thought it impossible for a British citizen to be tried in US court for running an off shore sportsbook. But they’re doing it…

        I wanted to add,

There’s a big difference IMO, about providing a link to a sportsbook from here… and actually accessing your account thru this site.

Bigboy, NO WAY I could see any book guaranteeing a line.

Well ordinarily it would be. I could start and run a book here in Australia and have nothing to fear from the U.S Govt. Of course if i were to start advertising my services, services which are illegal in the U.S, to U.S citizens in the hope of generating business, well then i guess i shouldn't be to surprised if and when they take issue with me over that. If i were to start shipping narcotics over to the U.S and then one day show up on their doorstep, i might expect similar treatment.

I disagree, Mad. Comparing illegal narcotics with on line gaming is a specious argument. There's no gray area with narcotics. It's ILLEGAL and everyone knows it.

With online gaming there have been federal court rulings throwing into question whether the 1961 Wire act applies- the only federal statute that can be used against online gamblers. This argument is further buttressed by the fact that Congress is attempting to pass a bill prohibiting - clarifying- the illegality of online gaming

            p.s. mad, love that avatar

We are looking into something similiar. Although we are in Costa Rica, we would not offer it in areas where it is deemed to be illegal.

We received a greenlight from CRIS although we have not had time to implement it and their programmers have not had a chance to work with us much on it. It is something that we plan on taking a long hard look at. Keep on us coach, we will make a system you are proud of.

Unless the line has moved, yes.

That is cool, I hope we can get Cris going here to test. That is like online stock trading. The place that gets this going 1st is really going to have an edge and books will write way more business.

                          Point and Click Pick Tracking

                          Hi all,

While WiseStats does not facilitate point and click betting, it does allow you to point and click to track picks based off live odds from the top 15 offshore sportsbooks. The picks are then auto-graded after each match. It also includes exclusive Matchup Stats, Odds Tracking and Alerts, and bankroll management.

The website has recently come out of closed beta and is now accepting new users for FREE. Just Google WiseStats to have a look.

Full Disclosure: I'm the co-founder of WiseStats. We'd really like to get feedback from the SBR community on what you think of it.
