Are Officials And Referees Considered With Numbers?
I was watching the Knicks-Celtics game last night when the announcer stated that the refs were allowing the players to play. It made me wonder if oddsmakers consider who is reffing a game when they come up with their numbers. I'm sure some referees call more fouls than others, which would open up more scoring opportunities without the clock moving in basketball, on top of more possible foul outs, and more power plays in the NHL. Just curious if anyone has some input on this.

The sport that you take the most consideration of who is doing the game is baseball. The umps play a big part. Got know what their strike zones are like and bet accordingly. Not so much other sports.

I don't play alot of under/overs in baseball, but I always check the ump stats on covers when I do.....
