I see where you're coming from but these guys donate year round. This was probably just one thing he was doing differently than just writing a check. Remember Lebron James's "decision"? That netted millions of dollars, all of which LBJ donated to the boys and girls club. Yet he is still hated. Yet that decision he made to is still scrutinized to this day and is the main reason a lot of guys don't like him and yet he donated millions. Not a million but millions because of it. All the while, a bunch of internet warriors and couch potatoes want to second guess him. I'm just sick of fat people I guess.
