Shortstop, I worked at a record store circa 1993-1995 and I gotta tell you the grunge movement was a movement that really did change music for the better. I have been to over 500 concerts and the one band I wish I had seen was Pearl Jam. I missed seeing them on New Years in the 90's by 16 seconds (long story). Best band live in my opinion is Pink Floyd. GNR is still amazing when they decide to rock.

Some great bands came out of the Seattle area in the early 1990s Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Nirvana. The Nirvana Mtv Unplugged cd is my favorite of all time. Loved how Pearl Jam was first called Mookie Blaylock, agter the NBa player.

Great song! Great band. I have seen them so many times I cannot remember. Every show is great but different. They are my favorite (as you can tell from avatar)

Tool is the best band ever! I met Maynard on Saturday at Whole Foods. He owns a Winery and is selling his Wine at Whole Foods and doing Autograph Sessions. I put it in my Memorabilia room and it fits in perfect! Tool is second to none!

C'mon, it's really a race for second-best band of all-time since everyone knows the Flatlanders are on top of the world. Can't get any better than Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock on the same stage.

hey bro- i really like joe ely alot!!
not so much the other two guys or them all together as a band
i've seen ely a few times- and he always brings it
i've seen jimmie once as a duo with a killer guitarist and it was pretty good
but not as good as ely
doubt many on here would know who we're talking about

Good list, Crayzee. Quite a few on that list I like and wish I'd seen, such as Hendrix, The Who and Led Zeppelin. Also never saw Cream, but did see Clapton a couple of times. One name not on that list that I'm sure you'll go when I say it is Stevie Ray Vaughan. Man, sure would be nice if was was still around entertaining us.
