#50Over 50 dead confirmed coochy, 44 in 99. This will be much worse not just because the numbers but also many will be children. This hit two elementary schools head on. In one of the schools, seven kids drowned because a water pump was destroyed. Many many still missing. I think 37/51 dead as of now are kids. Just heart breaking.
thx str, we're all accounted for and fine. Storm traveled more east than north so it missed us.Comment -

#54I'll see if I can find a pic or video.
10 years ago, the strongest tornado recorded in US history, with wind speeds over 300mph, cut through the exact same path as the tornado today. The same businesses were hit, same streets, same families, same everything. It's almost unbelievable for this to happen in the exact same spot.
Thx for the kind words guys. Krakens family is safe and tucked in.
Although this thread was started in jest because that's what we do here, it's incredibly sad to know just a few miles south of me right now, parents are desperately waiting to hear whether their child is dead or alive. That families once again are forced to rebuild their lives from scratch. That some parents are already making funeral arrangements for the children.
god bless the survivors and god speed for the rest.Comment -

#59Moore got hit by a F4 in 2003 as well. #60Glad you're safe Krake.
I lived 5 miles south of the location of the May 3, 1999 Moore tornado that had the highest winds ever recorded on earth. 318 mph! I can't believe three super tornadoes have literally hit the same spot and it's in my own backyard.

You can't survive this unless you are underground. I still have many friends in the OKC/Moore/Norman area. One of my best friends lives in Moore and his wife is an elementary teacher there. It took me two and a half hours to get a hold of them because cell service is overloaded and I couldn't get through.
His wife just left the school as she stayed with her students until all of them found their parents.Comment -

#69I almost went to Norman for law school. Lubbock too.
Once I figured out both places are damn near ground zero for Tornado's, I quickly changed my mind.
Anyway, I promise you would have rather of won the powerball. No chance you are still in bumble fukk if you had 300 mill. Maybe you would literally be in bumble fukk called Dubai. Either way, your biggest concern would be how much to tip the blonde for the most epic blow job of the day - not gods wrath.Comment -

#70Coochy it's a valid question. It's the same reason people tolerate hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis. It's just home. I got a lot of family here. My parents are getting older and being the only son, I feel some sense of obligation to make sure taken care of.
We've thought about moving but we have a storm shelter so we tolerate it.Comment
