Soooooo confused- 5 dimes....

So today i tried out 5dimes.com using e-check.....I deposited the maximum $300. I got up to $700 playing BJ then cashed out 300 only to find out I wont get a payout for 35 days minimum. I got pissed played with emotion lost everything.

I then went to chat and told them im highly considering a stop payment on the echeck that I was pisssed. According to them if I put a stop payment on it they wont take legal action against me, the only thing that wil happen is I will have a negtative balance and I won't ever be able to use the site again unles i deposit with them first and clear up the negative balance...


is this true?

Put a stop payment and see no legal action and not have to pay if I never want to play there again?

1) Signed up at a book and didn't read the deposit rules (which are industry standard)

2) Bet real money and lost

3) Then decided to read the rules

4) Decided you don't like the rules so you will now stiff them

Yeah, you are. You came on here fully expecting to get support for stiffing a well respected book. The industry is obviously not regulated so most people act on an honor system. Players trust books to pay just as books trust players not to charge back.

That is how it works. I have deposited echeck and it takes a few weeks for the check to clear. So they are not going to pay you out if your check hasn't cleared yet.

then decide you're going to stop the payment and not pay them?

I cannot believe I just read this thread. The scary thing is their are people out there that do just what this guy is saying. He is just dumb enough to write about it on here..lol. If there is one thing this forum frowns upon, it is guys that take a shot and do not pay. I would welcome you to this forum, but this thread has left a bad taste in my mouth.

About 5 years ago, I had the same mentality. I was leasing a sportscar and had no problem posting how I didn't care how hard I beat it because it was a lease. One poster pointed out how that (my mentality) bothered him and shortly thereafter I finally got it.

This is a problem now a days in all aspects of live, no one is held accountable for ones actions. It sucks not being able to look someone in the eye, shake their hand and know they are good for what they say. In my opinion shot takers are worst than the books that dont pay, and give the rest of us a bad name.
