Sexy how exactly does the NBA or Stern benefit by having the NBA's largest market eliminated?

It would be a dream to have the Knicks/Heat ratings wise.

Now Stern is left with three small markets and the leagues sixth biggest market.

Not ideal.

most of you guys are crazy. refs need to let them play a little more in this type of game. a lot of those fouls down the stretch were pretty ticcy tacky. a few whiffs that resulted in fouls were comical. let them play.

This... Knicks/Heat would be big ratings wise. Even though the Knicks suck the fact that the media is all based in New York means they would hype it up to epic proportions. Don't see why Stern would prefer the Pacers here. One explanation I have seen is that the Pacers mean an easier road to the finals for the Heat, but that is stupid because the Pacers provide more resistance than the Knicks would. However I do agree that the ECF will be rigged for the Heat. Roy Hibbert will spend more time on the bench in foul trouble than on the court this series. Any time he makes any kind of contact whatsoever with Stern's pretty boys Wade or James, it will be a foul. I guarantee it.

he didnt fix games, He shaved and added points to meet his bets, HUGH difference. Fixed would suggest that the winner was pre determined. Your either an Uneducated Redneck or a snot nose punk teenager who watched to much WWF growing up if you think it's actually fixed.

If you didn't gamble, what reason would there be to watch the NBA? The product sucks. A vast majority of the players are completely unlikeable. The refs are beyond putrid. Compare it to the NHL where the playoff games are incredibly exciting, the players are true warriors, and the refs do a pretty damm good job.

The NBA blows and it's getting worse by the year.
